On Saturday May 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Environment department will open its doors to the public (Rue des Espagnes, 148). On this occasion, the staff responsible for the flowering of the city and the villages of the commune will accompany visitors to explore the greenhouses filled with flowers. The cleaning service agents will also be in the spotlight! A stand will offer the opportunity to learn about composting and purchase a compost bin at a reduced price. On the occasion of the bees and pollinators' fortnight, the Environment department will explain the differentiated management of green spaces which promotes biodiversity and will give each visitor a free packet of native wild flower seeds. Members of the Horticultural Circle will also be available to the public for useful information on working in the garden. The friendly staff of the City of Arlon will offer drinks and snacks at reasonable prices for visitors.
