Find out how scientists work:
• See for yourself how researchers document wildlife in the field.
• Explore the free iNaturalist app to identify and share your own observations of plants, animals and fungi. Contribute to the global City Nature Challenge 2024 (CNC)!
Explore four exciting stations:
• iNaturalist Station: Get familiar with the app, view current CNC results, and learn how to participate.
• Botanical Station: Meet our botanists! Learn plant identification tips and find out which species thrive in the area.
• Zoology Station: Peek over the shoulders of our zoologists as they demonstrate insect collection and identification techniques.
• Biodiversity exploration station: focus on practice! Look for plants and tiny creatures, then examine them under a magnifying glass for closer inspection and identification.
Complete fun tasks at each station and enter a draw for a chance to win a special prize!
