Literary conference: My light years
As part of the cycle of literary conferences of the municipal libraries and games library of Aubange.
In collaboration with the Lutherie de Gaume, IMEP, the Aubange Tourist Office, Musique&Vie, Folon Foundation, Famenne Museum & Art Museum, Gierens Funeral Home, the Aubange Cultural Center and the City of Aubange.
The meeting with Bernard Tirtiaux invites you through words and images into the confidence of a life journey which has had light in its sights since 1968, the date when he placed his first stained glass windows in the chapel of the Martinrou farm where he lives.
This never-denied passion for glass and color has found resonance in the writing of novels, poetry and songs inhabited by the same obsession. In the same way, this quest for clarity has taken the path of monumental sculpture to celebrate light.
Through the magic of words and the projection of a hundred hand-picked creations, the ferryman of light tells, tells, takes you away, where your eyes widen, in his glass boat.
The libraries of the City of Aubange invite you to come and listen to the author during this literary conference which will be followed by a question/answer session with the public. The Le Point Virgule bookstore will also be present with a book stand that you can have signed.
