Women are often the first victims of conflicts. Simone de Beauvoir said: “Never forget that it will only take a political, economic or religious crisis for women's rights to be called into question. These rights are never acquired. You must remain vigilant throughout your life.”

The Women – Life – Liberty – Resistance conference will give a voice to women who have experienced violations of their rights as women and will highlight their journeys of resistance in different contexts of conflict or revolution.

The inaugural speech will be given by Madam Farah Dustdar, political scientist, on the women's revolt in Iran 2022 – 2024, the initial situation, the repercussions and the situation today.
