Aupa is the complicity of two friends, Sophie Acke on accordion and Justine Bourgeois on transverse flute. The ensemble was born in 2022 as part of the chamber music course at IMEP, the Royal Higher Institute of Music and Pedagogy in Namur, thanks to the help of Christophe Delporte.

Aupa in ancient Greek is pronounced "Aura", and represents the goddess of wind. His repertoire consists of different musical styles. Currently, the duo offers a rather classic program entitled “Through the times”. One of the original features is the accordion, which can replace almost the entirety of a string ensemble or also a piano. The arrangements are made by the protagonists based on original scores. The aim is to also offer pieces for solo flute and accordion.

The program aims to be eclectic, enlightening the public with succinct explanations and anecdotes about the works.
