The secret garden of Edward Steichen - Conference
Edward Steichen is primarily known for his work as a celebrity portraitist as well as for his role as director of the photography department at MoMA in New York, which in 1955 allowed him to mount the very famous exhibition The Family of Man. But what else do we know about this famous photographer? Paul Lesch, curator of the Edward Steichen collections of the Ministry of Culture, aims to shed light on lesser-known facets of his life and work. Come and discover the many activities that are as original as they are unusual – such as that of a dolphinella producer! – exercised by this Lëtzebuerger Jong.
