With Gretchen 89ff., Lutz Hübner offers the public a deep, unvarnished and hilarious look at the world of theater with a constellation as simple as it is ingenious: an actor, a director and a world-famous extract of theatrical literature, the famous “box scene” from Goethe’s Faust I.

But clichés always arise where there is a lot of truth and therefore all the neuroses, quirks and sensitivities. Here we find Luc Feit and Steve Karier, taking turns trying to act out the scene.

Feit slips into the shoes of various actresses, Karier embodies different types of directors.
