What is your relationship to waiting? With “The Waiting Rooms” – waiting room in French – Stéphane Roy addresses questions around time, fantasy, purpose and future, frustration, impatience and dissatisfaction. An interactive artistic proposal inviting the public to express their expectations, while emphasizing the importance of waiting as an experience in the production and reception of art in society.

Beyond the works on display, visitors will have the privilege of immersing themselves in a unique interactive experience. At specific times, Aline Demangel, an emblematic figure of neimënster as a cultural mediator, embodying a deep connection with this historic building, will be present to meet the public. She will also hold a notebook to archive these moments. Visitors will have the opportunity to contribute to the conversation, further enriching their experience of neimënster and strengthening the link between past and present.
