Counting millions of objects, the collections of the State cultural institutes constitute a unique cultural heritage which does not belong only to the institutes, but to everyone. On the occasion of the most extraordinary works and specimens will be presented in the joint exhibition. However, behind each of the chosen objects, which impress with their beauty, their uniqueness and their historical importance, there is also the captivating story of their discovery. The exhibition therefore offers the opportunity to approach Luxembourg and its cultural heritage also through a reflection on the management practices of the latter and to understand the social and cultural contexts in which the objects are part.
