Street art brings together street artists who use posters, stickers, stencils, but also painting and installations in urban space. They have in common an activity of urban interventions.
The goals of street art artists are varied: that of the graffiti artist is to show a name, that of the street artist is to express his creativity, some have more political interventions... Most simply want their art to be seen by the public, that there is an encounter between art and the world.
The route reveals unpublished masterpieces by known artists such as Toxic, Banksy, Keith Haring, Sven, Richard Orlinsky, Matos, Kool Koor, Obey, Jaune, Noir Artist, Seen… The route will bring together numerous works by Banksy, notably the complete series of cartoons made on the occasion of the 2003 London demonstration against the second Gulf War.
The tour ends with the presentation of Banksy's film “Faites le mur”, the artist's first film made in 2010.
