Bernard Lavilliers returns with a new album "Métamorphose", a reinterpretation of his greatest songs spanning nearly five decades of career. The album, arranged by Cyrille Aufort, is not limited to a symphonic version, but mixes various musical genres, from jazz to classical. Lavilliers uses the symphony orchestra as an expressive extension of his signature songs. The album addresses themes of social and political engagement, and includes a new song, “La Bandiera Rossa,” which invites reflection. The concert to present this album will take place on April 21, 2024 at the Philharmonie Luxembourg. The show promises to captivate the audience with a rich and varied musical experience.
